Hi there! My name is Louise - I look forward to connecting with you. My massages range from deeply focused work to full body flows that leave you feeling relaxed or rejuvenated depending on what your individual needs are.
Pain can be challenging to manage on your own, and it is my role to assist you in understanding where you are in your body to help alleviate as much stress as possible during our sessions. I work with you to improve the quality of your energy, as well as contribute to the mobility and flow within your movements and in how you carry yourself throughout each day. My goal is to make healing approachable and provide you with the tools necessary to take the feeling of relief I leave you with into all areas of your life.
I completed my massage training in 2005 and have been dedicated to helping others heal ever since. My certifications as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and holistic health coach all play a role in the work I do as a massage therapist. I believe strongly in the combination of movement and breath, as well as the mind/body connection, and take great care to utilize my teachings to expand these philosophies to create harmony and balance in my client’s lives.

Hi! I’m Skye,
Consent and open communication are at the core of my therapeutic approach. I understand that every person who walks through my door brings their unique history, experiences, and boundaries. By fostering a safe and respectful environment, I strive to ensure that each of my clients feels empowered and comfortable throughout their massage sessions. Their trust and active participation in the process are paramount to achieving the best possible outcomes.
My bodywork style is inspired by myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish, and Thai massage modalities; blending these techniques allows me to provide a comprehensive therapeutic experience that caters to the specific needs of each client.

I have been drawn to therapeutic touch for as long as I can remember.
I completed my initial massage therapy education in 2000 in Greenville, South Carolina, then continued to build on that education as a new transplant to Portland in 2002, attending Oregon School of Massage for a semester, then returning as a teacher’s assistant in kinesiology for a semester. Afterwards, life sent me on many paths, but bodywork and healing modalities have always been present in some form.
I recently continued to build upon my clinical knowledge in physical therapy and rehabilitation, attending the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mt Hood Community College and receiving my licensure in 2020.
I have spent the last 2 decades pursuing career paths that have involved creating safe, judgement free, nurturing spaces for people in the LGBTQIA2s community, striving to create a body positive environment and a grounding presence to encourage self-love and healing.

I studied Classical Chinese Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine, graduating in 2016. Since that time I have integrated what I learned in school with direct experience. I have worked with many different approaches to arrive where I am now. I mostly practice a synthesis of Tung and Tan style acupuncture. These are similar approaches sourced from centuries old family lineages which emerged from millennia-old knowledge of the human meridian system. These approaches are deeply effective at cultivating health and correcting imbalance while also being comfortable for the recipient.
What does acupuncture treat? - literally anything! Acupuncture is a truly holistic therapy. It can treat every level of your body, mind, and spirit. All physical ailments, all emotional ailments, all psychological ailments, anxiety, stress, immune function, trauma at any level, etc etc. They can all be treated with acupuncture. But you absolutely do not need to be sick or in pain to benefit from acupuncture. Even if you are the healthiest you have ever been in your life, you could still be healthier. All those psychological and emotional self-improvements you want to make, all those behavior changes and habits you want to improve on - acupuncture can help. And most of all - the greatest strength of acupuncture is in regular preventative maintenance and cultivation of health. Through pulse diagnosis I can find your weak links and help you prevent those imbalances from crystalizing as disease in the physical body.
What to expect -
A brief verbal exchange will be followed by pulse diagnosis. I will then place very small needles at an array of points on the body, mostly on the arms and legs. This is generally not a painful experience. Needle placement is followed by a minimum of 30 minutes resting while the treatment settles into the body. Please be aware it is unlikely you will receive needles directly in the area of disease. Acupuncture is a systemic therapy which helps to re-activate the body’s ability to heal itself. It is not a western interventionist therapy but something completely different. Also please note that acupuncture is a cumulative therapy, so please be patient and consistent with treatments in order to obtain the desired results.

I’ve been serving Portland as a chiropractor since 2012. I was initially introduced to sports medicine while on the University of Washington Track & Field team after suffering from low back pain through my adolescence. My positive experience with the training staff inspired me to pursue a career in bodywork. Before attending the University of Western States for chiropractic education, I went to massage school and became a licensed massage therapist. To this day, I incorporate deep tissue massage and muscle energy techniques in my approach to the rehabilitation of acute injury and chronic pain.
